Hey! I've got leaks too!

Pretty sure whatever is leaking is coming out of a drain hole behind the front wheel (passenger side). I've got no sense of smell so can't identify it but is there anywhere else it could be leaking from before I take the whole damn axle apart?

That weep hole drains off portal axle lube when the seal fails, and keeps it off your brakes, IIRC. Easy fix. Pull the portal apart while the axle is still on the truck. Pulling one gear is a bit sticky, but there are threads with pics that show it. Harbor Freight sells a cheap puller that I modified, so it works similar to the factory puller.
Also IIRC, there are two possible sizes of the seal and ring. See the parts diagram at SAV.

Doesn't do a very good job of keeping it off the brakes. Think the pads are ruined.
Getting the hex bolts undone is going to be fun...

A good old trick for cleaning brake pads covered in fluid is to soak them in gas for a few minutes. Take them out and away from building etc and light them. It may seem a bit extreme but it works.
Good luck and stand back!
A good can of brake cleaner would be a good start if you haven't already tried it.
Cheers, Clive

I'll try that, not that I need brakes at the moment as it's not moveable
