"Everything" works (taillights, turn signals, flashers on the front) but there are no flashers on the back. Any clues on how to track this down? Thanks!

If the 4 ways only flash the fronts, the 4 way switch assembly will need replacement. The contact board warps or melts preventing signal to rear lamps.

If you haven't already ordered a new switch, remove it and look at the face of the hazard switch for corrosion of any kind and clean it then try reinstalling. Worked for me when I had the same problem.

If not order one. Good luck.

Thanks. We got it apart and cleaned it up but no luck. Will order a new one ASAP and go from there. Appreciate the assistance!

The four way switch can be "iffy" (mine was) and sometimes one or the other of the rear lights would work, then not work, randomly. I dissasembled the switch, cleaned it, and shimmed it for more contact pressure and it has be working since then... but it will need to be replaced, eventually.
