VERY nice pics!
There is currently a Tender in Australia to replace all the LR's, Unimogs, Macks etc and the Pinzgauer is in with a showing, in the "light" section .... it's up against LR, G-Wagen and possibly the small Iveco.
The main objection to the Pinny (especially if it was to also replace the 6X6 Long Range Patrol LR's pictured below) is that it is Forward Control, so Land Mines are a more deadly threat than to a normal bonneted vehicle.
We'll have to see how the Tender process works out!
