Hard to say..... Not too long after fitting the PS I modified the motor to 2.7 litres so I gained some hp over the standard setup.
Thinking back though I never really remember sensing that much drop in power after fitting the PS..... Nowdays it's just part of the vehicle.

Profpinz, you did a very good Job. What about putting your conversion on the market as a kit (without the g box)?

I will second that request for a kit.

Think about it. I suspect you would have 10 to 20 takers. Look at the EFI kit Jake is making. People came out of the woodwork when push came to shove.

me too. Of course, any kind of mod that is safe on the road would be worth it. However it all depends on the cost.

Sorry guys, over the years I have had heaps of requests for Pinny components/kits but unfortunately I'm not in a position to help.

Design and prototyping is my business and I treat the Pinzgauer components I build, the same way I would as if I was doing work for any client.
The problem is, all the patterns and components are built using one-off prototype techniques and methods and so along with the design work, I spend tens, if not hundreds of hours on my personal Pinny projects ...... The result is "if" I had to ammetise my design and labour rates into the products they just wouldn't be cost viable.

The reason I put details of my projects on my web page is share information and to stimulate ideas and possibly give those with mechanical abilities a "leg up" so they can build their versions.
