Tear in rear top window

Post by Hawkeye Pinz »

After having the top on my 710 rolled up all spring and summer long I unrolled it yesterday and saw that one of the windows had cracked and torn  . Has anyone else had this problem and what did you do to fix the window? Thanks, Dave.

Fairly common situation I think. Find an upholstery shop who does boat and/or car tops (plenty of those in eastern Iowa). One type of clear plastic is called 'Euroglass' out here. They can stitch in a replacement in a jiffy. If you have patience, it's really not a difficult job to do it yourself. Googling for material will provide all the stuff you need.
