Found a few minutes to get my off road lights mounted, LightForce 24v HID lamps with built in balasts.

You can get different focus lenses and colored diffusers for them too

You should have come with it for a visit Jim .... then while you were here I could have taken you on a Pinny trip and we could have chatted and discussed our workshops, HID lights, Range Rovers, cats etc etc etc
Honestly if you, Dave, Andy, Eric, etc, etc ever do get down under, be sure to look us up!

BTW...I can't wait to hear how that injection system of your is going Jim!

Jim, are they set back a bit from the front of the bumper? I've wanted something similar for my Pinz, but my concern is the glass will be taken out by bushes, branches, or whatever. Even with a brush guard that's a concern for me. Have you tried them off road yet?

Peter, I have had a niggling desire to visit Oz for years. Even before I had any idea about the word Pinzgauer. I would love to visit Oz someday, and given the scenery on the current political landscape here, I might be tempted to overstay the visa permanently. A side trip to New Zealand wouldn't be bad to boot.

The light force units are extremely tough, supposedly indestructible according to their blurb. I have not seen them run, the reflector is certainly big enough but I have yet to be convinced by the filters and adjust ability, I like a very wide or flood beam. Unless one is going in a strait line all the while spots or long range can be not very good.

Andy can I join you i would like to live in Australia or New Zealand, I have relatives in the latter. the South Island of new Zealand seems very appealing.

Well there went any uniqueness out the window have the same lights in the same place on mine, the beams seem to light up the sides of the pretty well and the durability’s great hit a marker post with one and didn't even scuff the front protector.

I got a set of Light Force lights for my last Jeep. They are great lights. The beam adjusts by turning the whole reflector assembly (like a Mag-Light flashlight). The filters just snap over the lights. Clear ones come standard. You can get yellow, blue, diffusers, etc.

I just had the standard ones, can't imagine how bright the HID ones are!

If you want New Zealanders you might as well just come to Oz as I think there are more here than in NZ ...... (just kidding some of my best mates are Kiwi's)

....but if you want to see Pinzgauers (718's) go to NZ, as there military recently brought 330

Just wondering if they are mounted on the bumber and second of all, how far from the face of the bumper they extend out??
