Make sure that everyone goes inside the discovery center and get an adventure day pass ( $5.00 ) for the day even though you will be going on a black diamond trail the rangers still patroll them on quads and if your stopped for lunch or whatever you could get a ticket, and besides the funds go to OHV programs to help keep our trails open.

on a black diamond trail the rangers
They are just introducing that system for distinguishing track difficulty here.... never heard of it outside the US is the past.
Currently they are training 4WD Club volunteers to work with Parks Vic to so they can work out which tracks are what!

Sorry didn't mean to hijack the thread!

I agree, thanks Jim. The trip was a blast. Nice break in for a newbie. As soon as I get the photos from Christy's dad I will try to post some or email or put them on a cd. Every one on my truck had a really good time. Thanks again. Looking forward to doing it again.

Hello

The trip was a lot of fun. I am always amazed at what these trucks can do. I get nervous and the truck just pulls right through. I liked the balance of the historical mine stuff. I was exhausted by the time I got home. Someday, those mountains have to come to me.
Another good trip Jim. Thanks. I forgot my camera and otherwise could not have taken pictures of myself navigating the rocks, so if any of you have pics, please send them my way.

Nice pictures. Thanks for posting them.

I like the 5th one. It reminds me of the sorcerers apprentice and my truck is being summoned by Jim, the wizard of Pinzgauers :D
