glass and tires ?

I've spent lots of time reading manny post on this site , and I haven't seen many posts about breaking the windshield . Is this ever a problem or is it just luck ? I've driven manny cabover rigs in the past and had to replace the drivers window at-least 5 times a year ! My other question is about tires , I found a russian site called ex-road.ru . On this site there are photos of well built Pinzgauers , manny have what look like 35" or larger tires . I only plan on adding 34x9.5 tires to my 712 . What do you think ?

I run 34" Super Swampers on one of my 710M's. Slightly less torquey, faster on the highway, and 16" of honest ground clearance!
