Looking to find a nice trailer for my Pinz...US trailers are probably going to be the most affordable, so I was wondering what anyone uses ? M101? Is the M105 too large?
I dont have a pintle hitch on mine, so I guess I'll have to track one down. Are they easy to come by?

Prices on military trailers commonly goes on the vehicle that can pull it,hence the M416 (Canadian M100) are the most desireable with smaller and vehicles with less hp, thusly the price is higher. US trailers also tend to be heavier to move around by hand. My perference are the British Sankey Mk2 and Mk3 wide track trailers. Same basic size as the M416 but with surge brakes, jockey wheel and several other things not found on the US trailers.
Though they tend to be more expensive that the US, I feel they are a superior trailer. There is a guy up in New York that had a few of them a couple of months ago.

If you get the combo pintle/ball, get the 2" ball, not the 2 5/16" one.
2 5/16" ball is for trailers over 10GVW
Though I do have the combo setup for some of my trucks, I perfer the correct size pintle to lunette ring for my rigs that are more "dedicated" to a given trailer.. .... doesn't sound like a bowling ball beating up the back of the truck with the lunette bouncing around with every stop and go and bump in the road.

Mac,
Just sold mine to a guy in AZ, but the best one I have found is the M416. Tows great and can be moved by hand if not loaded.
The ball/pintle hitch that Wudog recommends is good for lunette or ball hitch. works for many trailers and fits the tail of the pinz very well.
