Does anyone know where I can get new lenses for the in-dash indicator lights - turn signal, E brake, brights, 4500 rpm, etc.
Mine have holes burned in them, probably due to using wrong bulbs.
SAV only has a blue lens. Can't find them on other supplier's sites.
Since they are apparently just little plastic squares, there may be some sort of shade tree work-around. Anyone have any experience with these?
Thanks,
Ben

Have you tried Dennis Williams at Linden? He may have something from a scrap truck.

Re: Indicator Light Lenses
Actually, I didn't see it listed at EI, nor at SAV. Perhaps I missed it? (entirely possible)
Re: Indicator Light Lenses
They only have the blue and the yellow plates at SAV: http://www.pinzgauer.com/showdetails.ph ... 111860130A
Or, if you have deep pockets
, they also have the complete assembly http://www.pinzgauer.com/showdetails.ph ... 111860130/
I was able to get used individual plates from Scott a while back by asking. They weren't on his site.
I have a complete assembly available for sale, however it does come installed in a '75 710M

When I first got the pinz the 'plates' were very faded but no holes or burns. I checked out the prices for new ones
and then went to a hobby store and got glass paint, the type that you would paint designs on glasses with (light
shines right through) and then removed the plates and painted them the colors that appealed to me. Total cost was under $5.00.
