Pinzgauers in movies

Post by KLRCAMARO »

Was just watching Jurassic World and happened to catch a 712 for a moment in the film, not to mention the g-wagons and unimogs. I was wondering if anybody knew of other films that had them in it??

There's another movie called "Just Go With It" starring Adam Sandler (2011), where he gets out of the back of a 712M. It's a short scene and you only get a few seconds to recognize it's a Pinzgauer.

Found this website that lists all movie and television appearances of the pinzgauer or any other vehicle you search. Funny how many times I missed them. Especially on The Unit, I watched that show with a vengeance

I stand corrected. Apparently that is a false radiator shroud. You can see why I was confused though? Why would they go through the trouble? The average joe isn't going to care if it's diesel or not.

There is a number of threads, especially for the "Thor" truck as it was modified by Scott at our forum sponsor Expedition Imports.
There is a 712 in Pacific Rim, too (also in a thread somewhere), visible for a fraction of a second.
