But take all that lift then put on puny Axles a wimpy Diff and non-portal don't look real well balanced IMHO.
I'd take a Mog 1300 over this rig hands down.
So lots of room for big-tired toys. Not counting the fact that when everything (not just wetlands) is covered in snow and ice in winter, big tires allowing to "float" on top of the surface is a good way to get around off-road.

I suspect it is more likely they copied this Commer (UK Chrysler) van, when they styled the UAZ 452 as well as my Pinz and Mog I also have a UAZ 469b......see the you tube vids, not complicated and suprisingly good off road, usually compared with 1970's Jeeps because it was designed from the outset not as a load carrier, but as a people carrier.
