I measured at the same distance, cylinders 1 3 4 show abt. the same temperature. Switching the spark plugs doesn't solve it.

Cylinder 1 3 4 abt. 310 degrees Celsius and nr. 2 abt. 200.

When I point at the exhaust pipes of each cylinder with a heat gun, the pipe of cylinder 2 is abt. 100 degrees Celsius colder than the others. Other 3 show more or less same temp.

Already checked :
- valve clearance
- spark plug fires, gap set
- idle mixture screws checked
- synchronized carbs and ...

My 710M has the Pertronix ignition installed with the original coil, distributor, ignition wires and spark plugs.

Is it worth changing to a full civil ignition with new coil, distributor cap, wires and plugs ?

Correct, when you swing the door, the spare tyre and this support act as the stop. On mine there also a chain from te mounting plate of the spare that can be hooked in a hole below the support. The chain prevents the door from closing.

She starts and runs good at idle and also while driving. I actually was not aware or felt the lean mixture problem until I went to MOT inspecrion.

She has rebuild carbs, petronix and valve clearances are ok. All 4 cylinders gave more or less same temp reading.

How you ...

Went to the mot inspection and values of exhaust are showing poor mixture.. What can I do to improve this ?

My 710M has problems with starting after a few days idle. On the first attempt the engine runs 2 or 3 secs and stops and then it takes several other attempts before the engine starts again.

The engine runs and drives perfect once going.

Could it be that the fuel drains back into the tank by some ...

Received the kit from S-tec and will keep stock cables, plugs and distr. cap. Installing next weekend [emoji849]

I have a leak at the speedometer linkage and have new washers and seals for it.

I can detach the cable by screwing off the ribbed cap but cannot get the next part off.
When i turn ...
