Weird LED symptom

Post by todds112 »

I got one side of my LED upgrade done. Keeping it simple using a single Stop, Turn, Brake light. I have read that I might need an electronic flasher unit, others have not needed it. Well I tested it and found that I was not getting the click-click inside and the dash indicator was not flashing. When I stepped out, the lights were flashing normally (front and rear). Guess I'll need the flasher after all.

Weird.

Got the Signal-Stat ecltronic flasher from NAPA. Works great. Had to bend the rear braces in just a bit to clear the lights, but got everything installed. Do need to get one new reflector that I broke accidentally.

You might find one that matches here twards the bottom of page:

Lots of 24v lights, Reflectors and Marker lights. I think they also have the original replacement headlight bulb for the Pinz "Hagglunds Replacement Bulb" didn't say if it was 24v or not though.

Lots of Pinz pictures here.......

Thanks Miles, I found some on Ebay identical to that. Bought 2 so they will be the same.
