East Coast Rally Military Vehicle Show

Post by IwanaPinz »

Hey folks,
I just spent the last weekend attending the East Coast Rally Military Vehicle Show: http://www.wacbgmvt.org/ecr/index.html.
A great event where there was more camouflage than you can shake a stick at.
One part of the weekend that I enjoyed was the East Coast Convoy: http://www.eastcoastconvoy.com/index.php
I traveled from my home in PA to Aberdeen, MD along with several military vehicles. All tolled we had over thirty vehicles when we arrived in Aberdeen.
This was my first road trip traveling on toll roads. I racked up a total of $29 in tolls. One disadvantage to six wheels is the tolls. (I know I should be in the dirt)
There were only three Pinzgauers including my 712 and in a world where every vehicle starts with the letter “M” our vehicles were a stand out. On Saturday we were joined by two more Pinzgauers, a new owner with a 712 ambulance and his buddy with a 712 split tail gate cargo truck.
The number of Pinz on the East coast is growing; we may soon have enough for our own Treffen
I have posted a few pictures on my Flickr site: http://www.flickr.com/photos/tahl007/
Enjoy!
