Blue Angels doing a flyover tomorrow.

Post by todds112 »

They will be doing a slow fly by the Tetons for photos (taken from a chase plane). Scheduled for 11:50 AM. I am going to try to take some pics.

Of course some of the hippy, greenie whiney-babies are already crying about the noise, etc.

Hope the weather decent been kind of grey last few days. I'll post some pics if I get any that are decent.

Hey Todd
The whinney babies are to be found in the UK as well.

I used to live near in the Lake District area in the UK. The RAF and some of the Nato pilots like those from the USA use the valleys for low level flying under assimulated combat conditions.
Once I heard some wingging and moaning about the disturbances of a peaceful English Sunday by low level aircraft.
I retort once "hey just be thankful these blokes are keeping up their air skills. one day we all might be thankful they know how to outfly their enemy--Our enemy. Silence.
Take care. I plan to be up in your area next week. The missus has got me driving in to Idaho (her home State) via Yellowstone with the Rat Pack in the back of the LR.

Well say "howdy" if you pass through our fair valley! I'm working all weekend, again.

Todd, They where here last weekend Pretty cool we live over the flight path of McConell Air Force Base. You get use to the noise pretty fast. not to many complaints in this city as most work in some type of aircraft manufacturing job.

Well it never fails, we have had like 2 months of clear blue skies and no rain. Been beggin for the rain. Well we got some today and grey cloudy skies with a low ceiling. No pics, didn't even get out of bed.

Of course we REALLY need the rain, so I'm not going to complain too much.
