Here's a pic of me in the old days ('99). I'm on the right. It's 0430 in the AM in we've been at it for about 22 hours. That's 4,500 plus pounds of weed that had just come in from Mx.

None, my chemicals of choice are adrenaline, caffeine and nicotine. Those were long days and nights. All the real work came after the catching was done. I don't miss the nitpickin' nickel dime paperwork for anything.

Yeah, if I would have sold that me and OJ coulda been roommates. I don't think so. Chasing dope was fun, but even more fun was seizing money from banks. Oh, such wailing and gnashing of teeth and blubbering by the bankers. And that was before it was ever forfeited.

Happy, nothing, I was just plain sleepy. You have no idea. Not only do we have to secure the weed, process the vehicles, and prisoners. The seizure report has to be done within 12 hours, you can't take more than one crook to jail alone, the weed had to be taken to either Brownsville or Laredo, both of which were about 125 miles away, the paperwork for the initial appearence has to be ready asap because they have to be brought before a US Magistrate Judge as soon as possible, so they might get bail. We have to use 2 people to transport dope anywhere and supposedly have to have two agents to haul the defendants to federal court in McAllen which was 70 miles away. Ahh, excuse me, there are only 3 of us in the office. How are we supposed to do this crap with 3 guys and not violate any policies? L:ike I said, it was fun when I started but the Mickey Mouse went to far at the end. Glad I could get out.

I have pictures of cocaine seizures too, if just a little weed has them crying those should bring on hysteria.

It was just a handwritten sign showing the total weight. The flash from the camera whited it out. It was 4500 lbs and and change, but I don't remember exactly. It was an odd amount probably due to the plastic wrap.
