baby seat in the front of my pinzgauer?

does anybody know at what age i can put my one year old son in a car seat in the front seat of my pinz. Is it safe to strap in a car seat forward facing in the front of my pinzgauer?

.... Main problem with front seat installs is the DANGER of an Air bag deployment. I have NOT looked at the web site and I am not aware of the current law in regards to age & weight. BUT I do know the Car seat does NOT go in the front with an Air Bag equipped car.... should you have a car where you can shut off the air bag - than it is ok....leagally... I personally would not trust my baby to a switched off air bag...

Well not sure I would take an infant in the front seat, I know it is close but if you get stopped the pinz is not really a "truck" in the eyes of the law, since you have seats in the rear, when doing off road tours I have taken lots of groups with infants which we straped their car seats into the rear seat belts, even the first year of owning the pinz we always had our son in a car seat in the rear, for a better opinion I would take just the pinz to your local CHP office and get their take on car seating in a pinz.

I added two seats in the back that are front facing and 4 point harness seat belts for my kids. My youngest is about 6 years old in this picture and is sitting in a booster seat due to his height. This is the safest way that I have them in the truck. Now they are old both can sit in the front.
