ive always wondered how bullet resistant the glass is on a pinz its really thick and the name on it suggests some sort of protexion has anyone ever shot at pinz glass?

The glass is not bullet proof. The minimum thickness of the glass to resist the impact of a 9mm bullet is 29 mm. That is almost 7/8 of an inch thick.

At 29mm, the glass will resist 9mm, .357 and small automatic weapons such as UZI 9 mm.

This glass will not resist 5.62 or 7.62 mm rounds, meaning assault weapons fire.

My advise is not to go to Mexico, Irak or Brazil and assume you will be protected...

Not to mention the thin sheet metal isn't very bullet resistant.
If you didn't get stuck, you didn't try hard enough.

Actually, at speed, the original windshield glass made an excellent IED, if broken.... against the driver :roll:
