I guess that's the other thing they don't have in common - so the same rig except mine will get knocked out by EMP and I can go under water up to my floor boards but the HMMWV can GO UNDER water - still the same rig Buck! Just the H1 is comfortable to drive. LoL!!
It like the difference between an Escalade and a Tahoe or a Blazer and CUCV - some parts are different for application but it basically the same rig on the same assembly line.
Good luck trying to get an HMMWV if you didn't get one at the GA auction - they don't get released whole any more!

i would love to have an hmmwv, but i'm always afraid they're too wide. like driving around in santa barbara... i dont want to hit stuff. does yours not feel too wide?
