can anyone make me "pants" for a replacement exhau

Post by audiocontr »

The SDP site mentions making pants from the 2 inputs to a single pipe and then mounting to a muffler. The only folks willing to take it on around my way will rip me off like no tomorrow. Would anyone be willing to make me a set of the input pipes and maybe recommend an easy to come by muffler?

I know this is an old post, but probably still a valid concern/want for some Pinz owners. I came across this website a few years ago when looking at exhaust options for my Ural. Looks like they could make up some "pants," with the required measurements. Someone say bulk order???

I don't know the inlet/outlet dimensions, but if someone does, I can price it out.

No, this piece here...

Having the "pants" would allow you to use any single (which fits the space) inlet muffler, versus the two inlet.

Hmm, OK, I'll ask my muffler shop friend what he thinks about this.

We must have it better than I thought. I just drive my pinz in and they take the old muffler out and install a new one with the exhaust routed either to the rear (712) or the upper rear corner (710) for less than $175 and they do all the work and provide all the parts.

Yup... I wish it was that easy here. They said $500 minimum locally though I found $200 prices in Pennsylvania and new York. Not worth the gas to offset the savings.
