Gotta love the Mercedes star on the front of it.
Shame he did not think to use a TD nose vs the home made one he came up with

What the F? If the seats are any indication of the quality of work...

Looks like a ton of weight on that front end.

That one's been offered for sale before, at least one other time on Ebay, by the same owner (IIRC). I believe it was discussed here too.

Its been for sale before. People may be scared with someone franken truck but it looks like a well thought out swap. I may not care for the star. His nose looks nice the td nose may have been an easier solution but his metal work is nice and tidy as does his engine swap. I haven't seen many swaps on this forum so kudos to him for acomplishing that daunting task that others talk about. It looks like it would be a fun ride for thE nonpurist. As for the seats they are functional and wh cares if they don't match relatively easy to fix if one was so inclined.

I talked extensivly to this guy sometime ago, He had/has three of them to include a 710 Ambulance.
He was an engineer by trade and from his explanation did a well thought out job on this truck.
I need another one like a hole in my head but this one for a pure fun vehical would be a blast!

The first thing I look at on any conversion of this type is slip spline on the cardon shaft... people don't realise how much twisting goes on with the central tube and the engine/trans... I'd look for worn out bearings on the output of the trans and input side of the t case, if not broken castings in the future. Anyone that has been around 710/12 know about those u joints beating up the bearings on a standard length cardon. On the TDs they're 2" to 4" longer depending on trans
.
