WTB: 710M ragtop

Post by mm58 »

A friend of mine just became the new owner of a 710M. It's a very nice truck, but is missing the canvas for the rear, sides and back.

Anybody have a serviceable one for sale?

Before you get too crazy, check these guys out. I've been to the shop and have known people that have them, especially the insulated ones. Less than you might imagine
The white 712 with blue top belongs to a friend. I've been in that pinz.

Right here in CO. They also make river rafts, since this is the slow season for rafts, the wait time might be a bit shorter.

Ya, we've looked at Tuff River. The only non-insulated top he makes is the bimini top. My friend is not interested in an insulated top.

Mike, don't dismiss the insulated top too quickly. Much nicer then you think in the AZ summers. Might even be able to work something out with a guy who has a top but wants to upgrade to a tuffriver top

And I just happen to know a guy that would be willing to work something out

Man yeah. I was lucky enough to get my hands on one and it is awesome. I live in Alabama where it is hot and I wouldn't take anything for mine. Made a world of difference in noise reduction and just go with it rolled up all summer.

I would trade my original top for an insulated one. I have new windows and it is very clean, only issue is that it has a small view window in the rear for the camera.
Also new bungies.

I would have gotten you an actual image of the top but my customer hasn't sent me any images since it's, been installed.

Sounds like, for the money, that would be the way to go. It's a good looking top.

I have an OEM one (back portion) for a 710M that I would be happy to sell it reasonably (perhaps $400) but it does need new windows.

I think the production date was in the mid 90's, and it was on my truck when I bought it from SAV.

Its raining here today and too wet to lay the cover on the driveway and take a picture. As soon as it dries out, I'll snap some pics.
