I'm about to start a major attempt by fully insulating a Unimog cab. I have some great materials from Second Skin including their newer gen "Mega Zorbe" ...
You have good experience with Mega Zorbe ?

seems lightweight, can block sound ?
I would like to try something on the floor of my 710 cabin,

Yes but it's not good for floors or engine bays. It's more of a cavity filler, like inside walls, ceilings, etc. I used it in a syncro van to fill in the sliding door and to make panels on the side walls, small pieces behind the dash etc. In the Unimog Im going to fill in the wall behind the seats mostly.

I used a product called "BedRug". it is a synthetic carpet product with about 3/4" of foam padding sold as custom truck bed inserts. However, the company sells, or sold, the sheet good product in 10ft lengths. I just made my own pattern. It can easily be removed for inspection of the floor or drying if wet. I will attempt to upload pics.

Very nice. I did a K that looked kinda like that, although I went over the wheel wells too. Made a nice difference.
