Proper diesel forum!

Post by VinceAtReal4x4s »

The Diesel forum has been created. The old diesel sub-forum posts have been spread out into their own sub-forums under the new 716/718 forum.

Yes I know... about time!

Thanks Vince, that makes finding and posting specific information a lot easier.

Looks like a good change... can I make one additional suggestion?

Seems like it would make more sense to put the "General" section at the top and then perhaps the two pinzgauer sections, haflinger and then volvo below.

I'll consider that although I've had others say in the past that they like to be able to quickly load the page, while doing other things, to check on a tech issue they posted about to see if answers came yet.

Hmmm , its on the web, so it must be true. :)

Once Vince can get pdfs to work, I'll upload TD documents (brochures, newsletters and other scanned documents) into a single thread as a library only.

Oh, Vince You're talent with words... I can't believe you could have used my name and useful in the same sentence :P

Well I try...

I may have figured something out here! Pdf's now seem to post and are downloadable. I can't get a preview to show up yet so maybe, for now, posting a jpg version along with the file would be possible?

Ok, I started by converting ATL's online newsletter AutoTec #6, and the jpg is larger than the pdf . :(

But it is a beginning.

I have never seen any 1 through 5, and #16 was the last.

The jpg might be ok for the newsletters, but it took a 1.2mb brochure and made it into 14.1mb of jpg's

So, please do not post any replies to the first attempt at the library
