Agreed.
I work in the industry, but have a long standing love for the great outdoors, overlanding, rock crawling, the Oregon Dunes, snow wheeling, traveling long distances in a day etc. My 5 main vehicles are 1946 Suburban with a 235, 1950 Suburban with a 250, 1990 Vanagon with a OBD1 Subaru swap and a 1974 Pinzgauer. So far the Pinz is just as reliable as the others. The others have been restored at least once and one twice, so I understand his comments on older rigs just needing worn parts replaced to make them as reliable as new once again.
