Ok, I'll only type this once so take notes: remove the alternator with the fan attached, get tw0 blocks of wood to use as a stand. Next after soaking with penetrant use a hammer and a BRASS or COPPER drift to push the alternator shaft off of the fan. You could also use a press if you have one. Be careful not to damage the fan, they are costly.

Jim, Thank you... I had read that others had done it this way in the past. I was just sweating about breaking the fan. My wife is on me on how much I spent on the pinz in the last couple of months. When I pulled the Alternator the fan had a little flex and in my head. I just could see me destroying the fan blade. I was shaking like a leaf to say the least.
If you have a Kawasaki Motorcycle dealer you could see if they have this tool.
XFP106 Kawasaki Flywheel Puller: Right hand threads.
35mm x 1.5mm external thread flywheel.
Fits: Kawasaki KLT160, KLT185, KLF300, KSF250, many 4-Stroke ATVs with large flywheel.
*Note: this puller only has a pulling depth of 1" for a deeper pull use XFP110
